All of our science camps are designed for children aged 6 -12.

Each activity and experiment is designed to engage each age group, with extra information provided to older children as and when appropriate

Our science camps start at 10am and finish at 2 pm.

Our after school clubs run for one hour a week in either a 5 or 6 week block and are suitable for children aged 7 -11

As a small buisness based in Aberystwyth, we are a small core team of 3 and endeavor to get to as many places across rural communities in Wales as possible. However, it is not possible for us to be in many places at the same time sadly. Therefore, we aim to run at least one event in Ceredigion, Powys, Gwynedd and Carmarthenshire every 6 months, where we bring a new science theme not previously run in the last session.

Children need to be provided with a packed lunch, snacks and drink for the whole day. PLEASE AVOID NUTS in the lunch box.

We also try to run activities outside as and when the weather allows, so please send children with a coat (if required).

For any cancellation notifications received 7 days or more before the event will receive a full refund.

For any cancellations within the 7 day window will not be eligible for a refund, but instead a credit note for the value paid will be issued (to be used within 12 months of date of issue).

For no-shows or cancellations on the day of the event, no refund and no credit note will be offered, as often we have children on waiting lists who could have attend should enough notice was given for cancellations.

We often have children attend on their own and are anxious of joining us at our science events. But rest assured, our team provide a friendly and welcoming environment from the moment you arrive ensuring they leave at the end of the day having made new friends.

We are unable to let parents or guardians stay as this can affect other children attending during the day and more importantly, for safeguarding.

We have a core team of 3 staff members, as well as casual staff scientists that join us during our really busy periods throughout the year.

Rest assured, each and every member of staff have an enhanced DBS Certificate and are fully trained to provide the science activities provided in a fun and engaging way! At least one member of the team at every event is fully pediatric first aid trained.

Our fantastic fun science themed birthday parties can be booked by you on our ‘Book Now’ page. You select the theme and we turn up on the day with the equipment, lab coats and goggles. It is up to you where you hold the event itself- in a village hall, school or at home!
