A-Level Chemistry transition week- 5 day course August 19th - 23rd
This 5 day course is designed for children finishing Year 11 and transitioning into year 12 to study A-Level chemistry. This course is suitable for any year 11 student heading into year 12 who are looking for that extra boost in confidence heading into their A-level years.
The leap between GCSE and A-Level can be a daunting one for students, and we have put together a fantastic 5 day course to smooth that transition between Year 11 to Year 12.
We have developed a variety of activities and experiments that allow students to develop upon their GCSE knowledge into the first steps of their A-level course. Meaning that when September comes, the transition will be a much smoother one.
As a bonus, all of these sessions will be conducted in a small group (up to 12) and set within a laboratory at AberInnovation, Penrhyncoch.
This event has been developed so that students attend each of the 5 sessions, with each day exploring a different theme in chemistry bridging the gap between GCSE and A-level.
Duration: 9.30am to 12.00pm each day Monday to Friday
Cost: £120 for the week.
